A New Official Pokémon Magazine has been released to the UK! Published by “IMMEDIATE MEDIA“, Issue 1 went on sale 29th March for £2.99 and runs through to 25th April. Attached is a free 3 card sample pack from the Pokémon Sun & Moon Trading Card Game. The magazine itself contains 2 free giant posters, two sticker sheets as well as “amazing facts” and smaller sized posters.
Pokémon Magazine Editor, Peter Hart, says: “We’re so excited to be a launching the magazine for every young Pokémon Trainer. They’ve played the games, bought the books and toys, and watched the TV series, but now they can enjoy even more amazing adventures with Ash, Pikachu and friends in the Pokémon universe. We know children are crying out for this magazine and can’t wait to get it into their hands.”
According to Immediate Media, every page in the magazine encourages readers to immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon, whether tackling an interactive sticker puzzle or deciding who’ll win an epic Pokémon battle. Content is underpinned by sound educational values which support the national curriculum.
Pauline Cooke, Immediate Media’s Youth & Children Publishing Director, says: “There’s no official Pokémon magazine in the UK market, and nothing for this age group that not only unites boys and girls but also brings them to the world of Pokémon in a safe and engaging way. It’s amazing working a brand like Pokémon, with a 20 year heritage, that continues to be so highly adaptable and relevant to kids today.”
The Official Pokémon Magazine will be available in all major magazine retailers, including Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and WHSmith, priced at £2.99.
